Henley
Working with
MH Systems
From my perspective the new Loyalty card system, we
have only just installed from the MH Group, has been a
resounding success and very well received by
members and officials alike. The on line card
top up facility through our website, which
was first developed for Henley, has given
our members the flexibility to charge
their cards on their PC or mobile
device before coming down to the
club. This particularly helped
at the first home match where
packed clubhouse bars were not
disrupted by members needing to
charge their cards prior to making
purchases.
Our catering partner 81Events
have now put their products and
menu’s on the system for the bars
and café and the staff like the intuitive
POS interface. It’s early days with only
our second home game this weekend
but already we can see the benefits coming
through and offering a very professional
experience to our members and visitors.
Looking forward, we look forward to working closely with
MD Ed Beale and his team at MH Group to exploit our position
as a farsighted, modern Rugby Club, to help deliver further
innovative extensions to their EPOS system. We have ideas to
exploit their bookings system to manage not just the venue and
our other assets such as our ‘Tiger Turf’ training pitch, through
our website, but to introduce ‘electronic’ meal tickets stored
on the loyalty card, initially for pre-match meals, but then for
functions too.
Gate access is also an area we would like to develop, with
season tickets programmed on the cards, as well
as a capability to capture ‘day’ spectators and
sponsors too, so that we can respond to
future requirements.
The MH Group have an App
currently available for the golf
market that looks very exciting.
We see tremendous opportunities
to develop this to cater for the
rugby market, especially for our
Mini&Junior section managing
over 450 players, where team
management and coordination are
important requirements.
In conclusion the decision
to partner with the MH Group is
already bearing fruits, and the future
is looking very bright and exciting.
