Pewsey Vale 01672 564555 “Our biggest immediate challenge is to complete the construction of our club house which we are building incrementally as funds become available.” MACLAINE incrementally as funds become available. Having a club house as the physical centre for the club will allow development of our youth section and expansion of the adult playing base. Our ambitions are to remain in D+W 1 North, further promotion would prove problematic in terms of player base, travel and expense. We also want to Increase playing membership in order to field a Pewsey 2nd XV. Along with our 1st XV the Alfred’s Nomads initiative allows league rugby to be offered to all our players, but it would be nice to have Pewsey 2nd XV. If we can keep the U9s cohort in the youth section going forward we hope that in 5 years we will be on the way to producing a colts team.” BUCKINGHAM SWIMMING • POOLS • LIMITED Supply & Installation Specialists With Buckingham Pools, you gain access to a wealth of experience that is second to none. I picked up an injury seven years ago which stopped me playing and led to me taking up pen pushing instead! I’ve been Chairman for around six years now, having previously filled the role of Treasurer amongst others. “I have been involved at Buckingham Pools for 12 years, buying the Company five years ago, sponsoring Pewsey Vale mostly privately, but getting gradually more involved as the Clubhouse project gathers pace. “It is an exciting time with the new clubhouse which I believe will be a fantastic asset to the club and the village. It will make PVRFC more attractive to new players and especially encourage new members into the youth age groups which will ensure a great future for the organisation in years to come.” Paul Mason, Club Chairman and sponsor with his company Buckingham Pools www.sportip.biz 19
