“ A successful rugby club on and off the field is the continual challenge . It requires everyone involved to work hard towards the same goal .

As a senior regional club within the Ospreys region , the player development pathway from youth rugby to the senior game is well established and has shown to be an effective method to help players reach their full potential . The club also take part in cup competitions that allow the coaches to select young players who may lack senior rugby experience .”
Community
“ Bridgend continually works with local teams and schools , the heart of the community . The club ensures youth teams from around the Borough make an appearance at the Bridgend Ford Brewery Field with half time tag matches , guard of honour formations and trophy parades towards the end of the season for the successful sides in the area .”
Challenges / Ambitions
“ A successful rugby club on and off the field is the continual challenge . It requires everyone involved to work hard towards the same goal . Welsh Premiership rugby is ring fenced for the next 3 years , the club needs to be in a position to not only benefit from the ring fenced division , but to ensure continued success following the 3 year league plan .
Recent seasons have seen Bridgend struggle toward the bottom of the League , just surviving the threat of relegation . No doubt the club will be striving toward consistently high finishes , along with continuing the ever successful player pathway that has seen many players progress onto the Ospreys and professional rugby .”
