We were unlucky not to finish third (our highest yet) and we also made it the final of our Combination Cup which we lost 17-20. “We are absolutely a community club with most of our players coming from within a 2 mile radius of Norton. We work with the local parish and Village hall committee both from a Rugby point of view and local aspect. “We currently don’t have a youth section but believe it will play a huge part in our future and are looking at it this year. There are a number of players at the club showing plenty of potential including Harvey Cooke who has just turned 18 and has started playing really well on the wing, Tom Eaton who has had a huge Discount rate on lettings management fee and residential sales fee with this voucher impact since joining and Dom Morris who keeps getting better and better. “Some of our biggest challenges moving forward will be the retention of our players, particularly with talented players wanting to play at a higher level and league restructuring. Our ambitions are to create a thriving youth section, get a second team off the ground and into the merit tables, get a second team and training pitch and for the first team to be promoted.” www.sportip.biz 59
