We expect works to commence in May 2016 with completion February 2017 . Until completion the Club will continue to play at Ram Gorse .”
Community
“ Our entire ethos is centred around the community and how we can work with and gain support from the wider population of Harlow and West Essex . We are registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club ( CASC ). In recent times , we have helped to support a number of local charities and food banks while our facilities are offered to other local activity organisations .”
Challenges / Ambitions
“ Our biggest challenges will be ensuring our move to new premises goes to plan without any significant interruption to playing rugby , working to ensure full ‘ buy-in ’ to the new facilities by our existing members , prospective new members and our new neighbours and ensuring we utilise all the new facilities as fully and as quickly as possible .
Our ambitions are to move up two leagues and sustain that level , to increase our Mini Section to 250 players ( currently 130 ), to become the focal point for rugby in West Essex and the surround areas and to retain and develop existing playing members while actively seeking new ones .”
