Harlow This Season “This has been a season where great strides have been taken and, while our first team will not achieve promotion from London North East 3 (North) this year, we will finish close to the top and have played some fine rugby in the process. Our other senior teams have re-built after a number of retirements and the fruits of their labour are beginning to show. Throughout our Youth section there have been a number of stand-out moments and excellent performances and the Mini, Girls and Ladies section continues to thrive.” Youth “Youth and Mini rugby is at the heart of everything we plan for and do at Harlow RFC. We recognised the importance of recruiting, nurturing and retaining the talent available to the Club from local schools and colleges and, therefore, we are working hard to increase our involvement in these establishments. We are extremely fortunate to have hugely enthusiastic Mini and Youth Chairs who are working tirelessly with the Club’s Executive to enhance what we can offer to our local youngsters. We have embarked upon a co-ordinated approach to coach education and qualification to ensure we are providing the very best we can.” The New Ground “The move to our new grounds will have a massive impact not only on the Club itself but the town and surrounding area generally. Our current facilities at Ram Gorse, now 60 years old, are unable to cope with our present day needs nor can they support our future ambitions to develop rugby in Harlow.
