them. A trophy would be a just reward
for all of the hard work that has gone into
making the club a success both on and off
the field.
One of the highlights of the team’s
performances has been the attacking
brand of rugby that they have been able
to produce. This has been reflected by the
fact that they have racked up 856 points
already at a rate of more than 35 a game,
making them the top scorers in the league.
This will certainly have meant that any
supporters attending their matches will
have been well entertained and should
encourage more of the local community to
get behind the side in future. This in turn
has the potential to provide them with a
valuable source of additional revenue
which is particularly important in the
current financial climate.
A league title would be a fine way for
the club to celebrate its 50th anniversary
and their first teams form is just one
example of the good work going on at
Bude RFC. Hopefully they will be able
to continue in the same manner for many
years to come.
