Carmarthenshire, Penybanc
RFC currently competes in
Division 3 West B of the Swalec National
League. They are led by Chairman
Hayden Morgan who is supported by
Treasurer Emyr Philips and the club is
looking to progress under their guidance.
This season, their first team has put
together a steady campaign having
compiled a record of four wins and eight
defeats from their twelve matches. This
leaves them lying in the bottom half of the
table with 28 points on the board as the
league draws to a close.
They will now be keen to put together
a good run of form in order to pull away
from the bottom sides in the league. A
couple of wins would do this and also
help them to build momentum heading
into the off-season as they look to build
for their 2016-17 campaign.
One of the highlights remaining
this season will be their fixture against
Trimsaran when they will be welcoming

their sponsors along to the game. As
well as the match they also have an
evening’s entertainment planned
with dual code legend and current
London Welsh Head Coach
Rowland Phillips set to speak at
the club.
The event has been sold out
for some time and promises to
be a great night which will be
enjoyed by everyone attending.
All clubs rely upon support from
their sponsors to survive and
this will be a fine way to help to
build on the positive relationships
that Penybanc shares with local
businesses.
