when it was decided that the Vale of Lune
was to be a local club for local players.
There is a sense of harmony and unity
swirling around Powderhouse Lane at
all levels, stretching through a vibrant
mini junior section, up through the junior
and senior colts, girls and ladies and
four senior sides. Strong links have been
established, over many years, with local
secondary schools at all age levels, in
addition the club supports initiatives to
develop the game in primary schools.

all home grown, and senior colts are
encouraged to train with the senior teams
on a regular basis.
