coach is Ben Dudley, ex PRFC junior who has spent the last 12
years playing for Worthing 1st XV and his assistant Jim Pearce
ex-Portsmouth and Rosslyn Park. With this has come a feeling of
a fresh start for many and plenty of enthusiasm and commitment
has been witnessed on the training field.
“Our squad has been strengthened with some new players
helping to create competition for places. Pauline French also ran

a very successful touch rugby tournament over the summer. Also
since the start of the World Cup we have had approximately 20
new players join us wanting to play after a number of years off
or having not played since school.
“Having only just avoided relegation the last two seasons we
are now looking for a season of consolidation and hopefully will
finish in the top six should any league restructuring take place.
Numbers at training have been excellent and thus the coaches
can see skill levels improving throughout the club.
“We are also just about to run a pilot scheme with individual
player profiling to try and improve our playing standard. This
