RFC. He recently told Rugby Club Magazine, “I
started playing senior rugby for the club as an
enthusiastic 15 year old back in 1977; my main
position was outside half.
In 1997, I started playing Somerset Senior football and hung up my rugby boots. I get to the
club when I can, however golf is another of my
passions and I also play during the winter so
it’s not always possible to get along. It’s great
to see the club doing so well this year and I
would like to wish everyone at Yatton RFC all
the best for the future!”

role as DOR, is dealing with a committee
that is just as preoccupied with the off
field activity of running a rugby club and
not just playing. They have however not
stepped in the way, yet!
