Mark Harding is the principal sponsor of Yatton
Rugby Club with his business Bath Ales. He
recently spoke to Rugby Club Magazine about
his positive association with the club, saying, “I
moved down to the area many years ago and
wandered into the rugby club and subsequently
into the team as their No.8. That was around
1997 and due to injury I had to curtail my
playing career about four years ago.
I still frequent the club on a fairly regular basis
and it’s great to see such a young squad playing
such good rugby. As well as being a sponsor of
Yatton I also sponsor Bath Rugby so many of
my weekends are spent watching them playing.
One of the real strengths of the club is that they
are a very family based club and are the hub
of their local community, in fact my step-son
Nick is a fly-half for the current 1st XV squad.
Yatton RFC is a fabulous example of a local
and successful rugby club and I would like to
