ased at Sundorne Castle, Shrewsbury RFC’s
first team currently competes in the Midlands 2
West (North) League. They are led by the team of
Chairman Giles Alton and President Glyn Jones
and the club is looking to progress under their guidance.
This season it would be fair to say that their first team has
not gotten off to the start that they would have liked, having put
together a record of five defeats from their first five matches. This
has left them sitting near the bottom of the league and yet to
register a point.
There is still plenty of time to turn things around however
and the team will be keen to put some points on the board as
soon as possible in order to build confidence. As long as they are
able to do so they should still be in with a good chance of pulling
away from the bottom of the table.
