tirling County RFC plays their home games at Bridgehaugh Park and their first team currently competes in the BT
Premiership. They are led by President John Wright who is supported by Secretary Ian Cuthbertson and they are
looking to progress under their guidance.
Last season it would be fair to say
that their first team did not perhaps get
off to the start that they would have liked
as they put together a record of five wins
and thirteen defeats from their eighteen
matches. This saw them finish near the

bottom of the table with thirty five points
on the board.
Although they would have liked to
have had a better season there were some
positives to take and they will be looking
to build on these in 2015/16. So long as
they are able to retain their current group
of players and perhaps make one or two
quality additions they should be in with
a good chance of pushing on up the table.
So far, their early season form has not
been what they would have liked with
one win, one draw and four defeats from
their first six matches. There is still time
for them to turn things around however
and so long as they can pick up some
wins in their upcoming fixtures to build
confidence they will be able to pull away
from the bottom of the league. It will
certainly be interesting to see how they
get along over the coming months.
Stirling County is not a club to focus
solely upon their senior section however
and this is reflected by the fact that they
also have a number of youth sides in
