dartford valley Esquire Developments are committed to giving back to the community, and we are proud to be able to help DVRFC develop as a rugby club. The values of the club are admirable and the amount of hard work and dedication shown by it's staff and players is fantastic. The drive to create an elite club that not only competes at the top level, but nurtures young people and educates them in life as well as rugby is a project that we were extremely keen to be a part of. The structure at DVRFC pushes young people to try and achieve their full potential and teach them that a lot of disciplines taught within sport can be transferred to all walks of life. Sunday mornings at the club epitomise everything that they stand for. Watching children as young as 3 learn and develop their confidence, whilst being active and having the time of their lives with the coaches and players at the club is a real sight to savour. The environment created at the training sessions is something that is rarely seen and it really does allow everyone to flourish. Both founders of Esquire Developments are passionate about sport and the positive effect that it can have on people that take part. We hope that our sponsorship aids in the mission at DVRFC to create a rugby club that Dartford can be proud of and that will become part of local history. The Future “We have had a number of mums and wives that were keen to get involved and so we’ve been able to set up women’s sessions a couple of nights a week recently which has been going well. The aim is to have our inaugural women’s fixture this year and to develop a squad that has a competitive option and also a fitness and social side so that it caters for everyone that wishes to be part of the club. Then we have the wheelchair side of things which has just started. There is plenty of enthusiasm for that and we are looking to gain the funds required to enable us to develop this area further. We’re looking for our men’s side to be promoted at least once over the next five years. We have to be realistic and are looking to progress year on year. Our primary aim above all else is to be providing a home where kids feel safe and rugby can flourish in an all-inclusive, sociable environment and that is what everyone at the club is committed to working towards.” www.dvrfc.co.uk- Twitter : @DV_RFC www.sportip.biz 59
