leicester lions “I joined The Rowleys Partnership Limited earlier this year as their Practice Manager, following the acquisition of a local firm in April which had boosted the size of the practice. Having taken on the marketing of the company as one of my core responsibilities, I was really pleased to discover the close affiliations that many of our Directors have with a variety of sporting clubs. As avid supporters of the Leicester Tigers and the Leicester Lions, we take an active part in sponsoring our local teams - as well as attending the games, of course! Rowleys has come a long way since it was established in the 1800s. Now, with 100 years of heritage under our belt and the title of the longestestablished independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Leicestershire, we are truly immersed in all that this vibrant city has to offer. A recent flurry of tourist activity caused largely by the interest in Richard III, but also due to the recent successes of our resident rugby and football teams, has boosted several industries within the local economy, and we’ve even seen a drop in unemployment. This is great news for local businesses looking to take on new opportunities, increase their turnover or boost their workforce. With a large team of experts dealing with many niche areas, we are ideally placed to cater for all of our clients’ needs regardless of their size. Our client base continues to steadily grow as our reputation for integrity and expertise increases and because of the innovative, cost-effective solutions we identify to help our clients overcome the challenges they face. To apply a rugby analogy, you could say that we trust each other to always be the winning team, we work together to deliver something great to our loyal fans, performing within the rules and guidelines of the games. We train tirelessly, we strive for success, we support our team mates and we always enjoy what we do. I’m really looking forward to the rest of my career with Rowleys and just hope that I can be as successful as our local teams are becoming.” Alison Whitfield, The Rowleys Partnership Ltd www.pitchero.com/clubs/leicesterlions- Twitter : @leicesterlions1 www.sportip.biz 15
