Webb Ellis Cup to visit Arlebury Park in Alresford, Hampshire as part of Rugby World Cup 2015 Trophy Tour
On August 26 rugby’s greatest prize, the Webb Ellis Cup, will
visit Alresford Rugby Football Club as part of the Rugby World
Cup Trophy Tour.
Launching on June 10, only 100 days to go to the opening match,
the Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour will travel through Scotland,
Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Wales and England
before arriving at Twickenham Stadium on September 18 ahead
of the Opening Ceremony.
As part of the Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour, Alresford
Rugby Football Club will spend an afternoon and evening in the
company of the Webb Ellis Cup as Alresford Celebrates RUGBY.
Come and join in a fun packed summer afternoon with Rugbythemed activities for all the family. Minis, youth, women’s and
men’s rugby will all be taking place with lots of informal fun
activities as well.

se es the opening of its two fine new rugby pitches, thanks to the
support and commitment of the RFU (England Rugby) and the
New Alresford Town Council. ARFC is entering its 25th season.
And, ARFC is to host the Webb Ellis Cup.
