is a sponsor of Crowborough RFC and Janet Wirt told us of her family link to the club. We were keen to find out
more and her son Andrew took the time to speak to Rugby Club Magazine. He told us, “I’ve been involved with
the club since around 2005 and have thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
“My two sons both play for the club and it has been brilliant to see them enjoy their time at Crowborough so
much. They are progressing well and that is largely thanks to the superb set up that the club has in place. It is
truly a family club helps youngsters to develop as players and people and we’re proud to be associated with them.
“There’s a really good atmosphere at the club at the moment and hopefully they will be able to take this forwards
into the new season in order to have a successful campaign. Everyone involved gets along really well and it is
good to see the club pulling together to achieve their goals.
“Hopefully over the coming years the club will be able to continue to progress much in the same way that they
have been in recent years. I know there are plans to improve the facilities and this would also be a major boost. I’d
like to take this opportunity to wish everyone associated with the club the best of luck for the season ahead.”
