Darren Raynes is an ex-player and current
club sponsor of Merthyr Rugby Club. He
recently told Rugby Club Magazine, “I played
prop for the club for a few seasons but work
commitments put an end to my playing days
when I was in my early 20’s. The club have
enjoyed a magnificent season this year and
I would like to wish all the boys continued
success for next season when I believe they
can compete for promotion to the premiership.”
