side in the club this season, but we are running five junior sides
ranging from U7 to U14 and thanks must go to Rebecca Caddell and
all the volunteers who run our junior sides.
“The facilities we have in the club are second to none in the area as
we own our own field where we have floodlights and a 500 seater
grandstand and the changing rooms are enclosed under the stand
and we also have an indoor hydraulic scrummaging m/c.
“In the clubhouse itself we have a Bar, Lounge and a big function
room where we can cater for 160 people sitting. We also have two
squash courts and a Gym which are open to the community to use.
The club is also used by the local drama group, zumba classes, local
weight watchers and men and women’s darts teams, so the club is
very much a community club.
“Our biggest challenge in the next five years on the field is to keep
hold of our home grown players and off the field is to keep the
clubhouse running at a profit so we can invest in the future of the
club.”
