Tamar Saracens RFC currently competes in the
Tribute Devon 2 League. They are led by Club
Chairman Mike Ryeland and have made
a considerable amount of progress
under his guidance as they look to continue
to play an important role in their local
community.
They pride themselves on being
a serious club that also has
a great social side and will
always look to provide
anyone
interested
in
getting involved with a
warm welcome. They
put on plenty of friendly
fixtures to ensure that
new/young
players
have an opportunity
to develop their skills
in a safe and enjoyable
environment.
Having a strong social
side is a vital part of
any successful rugby
club and this is an area
that they appear to have
covered. This will ensure
that people will get the best
experience possible from their
involvement with the club.
This season their first team has
had a terrific campaign, having
compiled a record of thirteen wins
and just one defeat from their fourteen
league matches. This saw them finish second
in the table with 61 points on the board.
