Alwyn Thomas of Club Sponsor Celtic Rock Services recently took the time to tell us more about his positive association with the club.
He said, “The reason we started sponsoring the club was because many people there worked with us. We’ve got a great relationship with
everybody that’s been with the club and we’ve been involved for over 20 years now.
I still get along to watch the side whenever I can and there’s always been a good atmosphere at the club. As a family we’ve always had a
keen interest in rugby and my Granddaughter, Millie Thomas, plays rugby for the Newton Abbot girls team and is progressing well.
The best part of being involved with Buckfastleigh is the camaraderie around the place and we’re always made to feel very welcome when
we go along. I hope that the club can continue to improve and achieve good results in the coming years. They’ve got a strong coaching team
and I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone associated with the club the best of luck for the future.”
