My children Cian and Bobi both play for the club in the U10s and U8s.The junior set up at Newcastle Emlyn is second to none with 300 youngsters turning up on training nights. The club has a very strong family atmosphere and everyone is always made to feel welcome. Our senior teams are having a fabulous year and I would like to wish everyone involved with the club continued success.” Tim Humfryes is a club sponsor of Newcastle Emlyn RFC and he told Rugby Club Magazine, “My company Fire and Security Alarms Ltd installed the clubs fire alarm, CCTV and intruder alarm systems and maintain them annually. I am also a sponsor of the club and try to get down there whenever I can. I have been to some football matches but I am more drawn to rugby. Over the past few years I have attended some international rugby fixtures, mainly six nations, and I find the difference within crowds is immense. This year I took my son Elis to the Ireland v Wales game and when you looked back at the fans you could see the mixture of red and green where all the fans were mingled together. My son commented, `This is the best rugby match I have ever been to’ . Newcastle Emlyn are an excellent club who are enjoying a tremendous season and I would like to wish everyone associated with the club continued success.” 54 Issue 54
