We have been successful this season
because our young team are maturing and
team spirit is very good, however the rugby
standard at this level is way below the
championship.
Since the restructure of the league system
we are now playing local teams and
attendances home and away are better than
last year. For pure enjoyment this division
is the best to play in especially if you are

winning most of your matches. As in all
sports supporters enjoy watching a winning
team.
Mini and youth rugby are very important
in our club. The mini section is always
successful and organises teams from under
7’s to under 16’s with enthusiastic coaches
in each age group. Youth and second team
rugby appears to be declining in Wales
with many of our matches being cancelled
because the opposition are unable to field a
team.
We are definitely community orientated
with our club being the focus point of
the village and regularly being hired
for numerous functions. The club is
well organised by a very hard working
committee.
