“We are 100% a community club - when you see close
to 200 kids training weekly from the under 8s team
through to the under 16s team - it clearly shows the
importance of not only the club within the community,
but also the community to the club as well. With the
success the club is currently having I feel it makes that
bond even stronger.
“Without a doubt maintaining our current on field
performance will be a huge challenge for a club our
size to keep on doing, along with producing the next
young batch of young players who are ready to play at
our current level. We want to continue with our current
on field success and hopefully become a championship
side over the next few years - but while continuing to
play an attractive brand of rugby.”

Club Magazine about his positive
association with Newcastle Emlyn
Rugby Club, saying “I currently help
out with coaching of the U13s and
juniors. Many of our junior teams
have performed really well this year
competing in the Plate finals, not to
forget the magnificent season our
seniors are enjoying.
I played for the club in days gone
by and I have a very strong family
connection with my uncle and dad
along with Chris Jones all being
founder members. The club has come
a long way since those early days and
I am very proud to be associated with
Newcastle Emlyn RFC and I would like
to wish everyone at the club continued
success.”
