They are led by President Derek Black who is supported by Secretary Ally Geddes and the club is looking to progress under their guidance. Their first team has put together a steady campaign so far this time around having put together a record of six wins and twelve defeats from their eighteen league matches. This has left them sitting in a safe mid table position with 30 points as the season draws to a close. This should provide them with a solid platform upon which to build as they look ahead towards the 2015/16 campaign. As long as they are able to retain their current group of players and perhaps make one or two quality additions they should have a good chance of putting together a successful season next time around. One major positive for the club this season has been the open style of rugby that their first team has been able to produce. They are the top scorers in the bottom half of the table and have regularly put on entertaining fixtures although they do need to tighten up a little defensively. This will certainly have ensured that any supporters coming to their games will have been well entertained and should encourage more of the community to get behind the side in the future. This in turn has the potential to provide them with a valuable source of additional revenue which is particularly important in the current financial climate. With the season drawing to a close Morgan have planned their annual club dinner which is due to be held on Saturday 18th April. Former British and Irish Lion and Scotland Captain Jason White has been confirmed as the guest speaker. White debuted for Scotland in 2000 and captained them for the first time in 2005. One of his finest moments came when he produced a man of the match display against England in a famous 18-12 victory to win the Calcutta Cup. The night itself promises to be a night that is enjoyed by everybody that attends. Morgan is a club that is committed to providing as many people as possible from the local community with an opportunity to play the game in a safe and enjoyable environment. Thi ́
