Richard Chard of club sponsor RC
Scaffolding took the time to tell us more
about his positive association with the club,
saying, “Having played for St Julians I was
more than happy to support the club when
the opportunity arose with my company RC
Scaffolding.
There’s a superb set up down at the club and
there really is a great group of people putting
a lot of work into making them a success. I’m
delighted to see the side doing well on the
pitch this year and my company and I will
continue to assist their progression whenever
we can. I’d like to take this opportunity to
congratulate the club on a fine season and to
wish everyone associated with them the best
of luck for the future.”
We've also attracted a very experienced WRU level
3 Coach which has improved playing standards and
reflects our positive position in the league.
The main drive and goal of setting up the M&J section
was to get a youth team to enhance and improve the
club's senior team. Our current U15's are one of the
strongest teams in South Wales and have only lost
2 games all season. This can only bode well for the
future of St. Julians HSOB RFC.
This is 100% a community club attracting kids from
several different schools and all walks of life. This
makes it the club it is and a joy to be a part of. At set
up it was all about getting a youth team formed asap
to feed the seniors. Now the focus has changed with
the development of the M&J section. It's all about
the players having fun and both parents and players
enjoying their time at the club.
If it wasn’t for all our volunteers, from coaches,
referees, cooks, committee and all the parents this
club would not be what it is today. I applaud all these
people for giving up so much of their valuable spare
time and because of this our future looks rosy. It's a
fun filled loving club with the right values at its heart
- the kids having fun and enjoying their rugby.
I would love to see the club pushing up the divisions
and putting St. Julians HSOB RFC name on th
