F
irst established in 1971, Hillfoots RFC was founded off the back of a successful group of players at Alva Academy
that wanted to continue playing after leaving school. With this in mind they established the new club with their
constitution stating that the, “purpose of the Club is to promote good rugby football within the Hillfoots area.”
Since then they have put together a history
of which they have every right to be proud
and continue to play a vital role in their
local community. In 2011 they were able
to celebrate their 40th anniversary.
The club continues to make progress and
recently were recognised as the fastest
growing club in Scotland 3 years running.
