llangadog FOLLOW US ONLINE TWITTER.COM/RUGBYCLUBMAG Llangadog RFC L langadog RFC plays their home games at The Pavilion on Pen-y-Craig Road in Carmarthenshire and is a terrific example of a community establishment that plays an important role in their local area. Competing in Division 3 West C of the Swalec Leagues they have been in fine form so far this season and currently find themselves sitting proudly at the top of the table having put together a record of 9 wins and just 2 defeats from their 11 matches. This should provide them with the perfect platform upon which to build as they head into the business end of the season. So long as they can keep up their recent level of performance it will be difficult for any of their competitors to prevent them from going on to claim the title. This would be a just reward for all of the hard work that has gone into making the club a success in recent times. One of the highlights of the team’s performances so far this season has been the attacking brand of rugby that they have been able to produce. This is reflected in the fact that they have racked up an impressive 288 points in the league alone at a rate of nearly 30 per match. 88 Issue 52 Unsurprisingly this sees them as the top scorers in the league. Playing with such style has certainly meant that any supporters attending their matches have been well entertained and should encourage more of the local community to get behind the side in the future. This in turn has the potential to provide them with a valuable source of additional revenue. With the team performing so well Rugby Club Magazine was keen to find out what has been behind their success and Chairman Alun Bach took the time to tell us more about the club.
