right time is a big challenge which we face all
the time.
Other than that our biggest test is to be
constantly improving both on and off
the field. We’re looking to make some
improvements to the ground and that will be
the transition over the next couple of years
to gain an A-license. Over the coming years I
hope that we can continue what we’re doing.
We’re not a big town club; we want to keep
developing youngsters so that they can reach
their full potential and as long as we’re doing
that we’ll be happy.”
Bargoed RFC is no doubt a very successful
club with a superb Committee in place. It is
apparent that they have a tremendous focus
and togetherness about them and this is in no
small way down to the contributions of their
team manager Brett Wakefield and coaches
like Steve Barber, Dai Lynch and Gareth
Genter. Rugby Club Magazine would like to
wish them the best of luck for the rest of the
season.
