to include compulsory professional work placements in every degree, and now works closely with
over 2000 businesses, across all sectors, both regionally and nationally, who offer their students
placements that are relevant to their degrees. The results speak for themselves, with 94% of Leeds
Trinity graduates employed or in further study within six months of graduating.
Leeds Trinity has maintained its reputation for excellence in the training of teachers, as evidenced
by the employment success rates of its graduates, which are currently 100% for recent graduates
in PGCE Primary Education, 95% for Primary Education undergraduates and 99% for PGCE Secondary
Education graduates. The University is also renowned for its sports provision with nearly a quarter of
its courses falling within the Department of Sport, Health and Nutrition.
