We caught up with their Rugby Sponsorship Manager Lee Bailey to find out more about their partnership. Involvement He told us, “I joined RBS about this time last year, before that I’d worked with Guinness on their Premiership Rugby Programme. This is my 2nd RBS Six Nations sponsorship but I’ve been involved with rugby for a long time before that. From being a fan I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the Six Nations. I’ve got some good memories and some worse ones! I remember coming up to Scotland twice in 2 years and watched us lose both games, it was still a great experience though. I went to France a few years ago to watch France vs Wales when Wales had an amazing 2nd half to come back to win. As an England fan, finally winning a Grandslam in 2003 and then going on to win the World Cup after that was a huge highlight. Having been a fan for so long it is fantastic to now be involved. I think a lot will rest on the first game. If England can win away in Cardiff, you’d say they’ll be strong all the way through but they didn’t have the best Autumn whereas Ireland looked very strong.
