President George Irving took the time to tell us more about the good work that they’ve been doing lately. He started by telling us about his involvement, saying, “I have been with Arbroath Rugby Club for about 7 years now. I have been fortunate enough to be involved with rugby clubs for all my adult life, and as a result of over 35 years regular Army service this has included Hong Kong, Cyprus, Germany and the UK. On leaving the Army I retired to Arbroath and naturally joined the local club. Both my sons had attended Queen Victoria School in Dunblane which is for serving forces children and the boys had already made friends with other service families who came from Arbroath, so it was quite a nice and easy experience for all to be involved. As the club President perhaps the most challenging and rewarding aspect of the job is, seeing the club funds grow. Currently the club is quite buoyant, for the first half of the season we were in the Caledonian Midlands League 3 East, which we won without defeat. This saw us move into Caledonian Midlands League 3 along with the other top 4 teams from our league to combine with the top 5 from the Caledonian Midlands League 3 West league. This season has seen us win one league and we
