Atmosphere
“There is a real buzz at the club at the moment –
everyone is excited about something, but no one can
pin point what. It’s just the general mood that the club
is really picking up and starting to go places. The lads
have a new coach, the ladies have a whole squad, the
Mixed Ability side is going from strength to strength
and the juniors are getting up and running again. It’s an
amazing feeling and watching the Halifax family grow
is what it’s all about.”
Community
“Halifax RUFC is without doubt a Community Club.
Having fallen from grace somewhat in the past, the
entire club is now working hard towards rebuilding
the Club Profile and inviting everyone to share in that.
With rugby teams for all at the club, and big events
such as the 7s tournament (which proved to be a
massive success this year) it’s all about participation, in
whatever context. If you don’t play, come watch. Bring
the kids down, or the dog but just come and join in. You
won’t regret it.”
The Hire Experts evolved from running Hire
companies for over twenty years, then being made
redundant. Old clients would call and ask where
