Meden Vale RFC is an establishment which
has been doing a tremendous amount of
good work in recent times. Fixture Secretary
Andrew Cullington has been with the club for
around 25 years and took the time to tell us
more about the club.
The Role
He started by giving us an insight into his role, saying, “The
most challenging aspect is trying to keep people happy by
making sure they get plenty of game time. We turn out on
a Saturday to win games so keeping people happy and
winning games go hand in hand.
Some of our biggest challenges include the maintenance
of the playing fields and facilities is time consuming
and raising funds for the club where we are trying to be
as innovative as we can, saving money here and there,
arranging raffles, setting up the tuck shop etc.
