MORLEY
MORLEY
After a successful summer of training camps, trophy wins and preseason training, Morley
RFC upgrade for better sponsors, a high profile website and the videoing of matches.
Morley RFC offers a wide range of
teams for all ages; seniors, juniors
and midi/mini teams. Meaning that no
matter what your age, there will be a
team for you. As of recently, Morley
RFC have introduced a new feature to
their website. The videoing of players
in matches acts as a prominent feature
on their website. This makes it viable
for players to see which areas they can
improve in, viewing for parents who
were unable to attend the match and
even for scouts to spot key players for
regional and national teams.
The new sponsors at Morley RFC are
Ravenheat and Morley Chamber of
Trade and Commerce. Long standing
sponsors include Thwaites, Beaumont
and Aviva. As part of their sponsorship,
Aviva TV features on Morley RFC
website which means that rugby fanatics
can keep up with the latest rugby news
on their regional site.
Not only does this club offer a wide
range of rugby teams, but also poses
as a venue for alternate events. The
club room is able to be hired out for
birthdays, wedding celebrations as well
as fundraiser events. Such as the Beer
Festival which took place 22-24 August.
This event provided live music, food and
a wide range of ciders and real ales.
This not only brings the rugby community
together but also provides socialisation
and allows the raising of funds for
Morley RFC to improve the club house
and other facilities in and around the
pitches.
Other clubs have taken on innovative
ways to raise money to improve clubs are

Clubs aim to improve their experience in all
aspects and by attending club events you
help them do so. It is clear that Morley RFC
aim to create a high profile team from the
professionalism of their web page, sponsors
and up and coming tournaments to advertise
their players and win trophies for Morley.
