UCS OLD BOYS
They are based on Ranulf Road in West
Hampstead and welcome anyone that is
interested in the game whether at beginner
level, have played for many years or are just
looking for something new. Their first team
currently competes in the London 3 North
West Division.
They have enjoyed a positive start to the
current campaign, having compiled a record of
2 wins and 1 defeat from their first 3 matches.
This sees them sitting in the top half of the
table with 9 points on the board.
This should provide them with a strong
platform upon which to build as they look to
put together a successful campaign. As long
as they are able to retain their current group of
players and perhaps make one or two quality
additions they should be in with a good chance
of mounting a title challenge.
One of the major positives of the team’s
performances so far has been the strong
defensive record that they have compiled. This
is reflected by the fact that they have conceded
just 47 points up to now, meaning that they
have conceded just 47 points.
Their strong defensive record is thanks to the
superb individual defenders that they have
in their team and also the hard work that
they have put into making sure that they are
well organised during the off-season. This
is a credit to their coaching set-up. Being
so difficult to breach will give help to instil
confidence throughout the team giving players
the freedom to go out and play their rugby.
