BRISTOL IMPERIAL
BRISTOL IMPERIAL
First established in 1905, Bristol Imperial plays their home games at the South Bristol
Sports Centre on West Town Lane in Bristol. They are led by Chairman Aaron Binns
whilst Danny Williams is their Head Coach and the club is looking to progress under their
guidance.
It would be fair to say that their first
team has not enjoyed the start to the
current campaign that they would
have liked, having put together a
record of 0 wins and 3 defeats from
their opening matches. This has
left them sitting at the bottom of the
table, still looking to record their first
point.
part of the role is keeping on top
of the admin role as club secretary
whilst the most rewarding is seeing
such a large group of people
interacting and engaging in sport as
a team.
There is still plenty of the season left
to go for the side to turn their fortunes
around however. As long as they are
able to get a win on the board soon

late. Our facility could currently do
with a splash of paint but generally
is in good order.
Youth rugby is very important to us,

work in progress. We had a Junior
player, Mike Jackson who played for
Bristol but that was some time ago
and we also produced Kevin Maggs,
who went on to play for Ireland.
In the short term we want to sustain
our position in the Somerset Premier
League and will also be looking to
gain higher league status in the
future.” The good work being done at
the club should enable them to look
forwards to a bright and successful
future and Rugby Club Magazine
would like to wish them the best of
luck.
