Rugby Club Magazine caught up with Club Representative
Sophie Lepper to find out more about the good work that
they have been doing.
Involvement
She told us, “I have been at the club since I was 16 so 11 years now. I joined the
club for the opportunity to play Women’s rugby and also because there is such a
strong community feel about the club.
I am no longer captain but I was for 3 years and the hardest thing was recruiting
and keeping players, the women’s game, more so than the men’s, seems to see
a large turnover of players. Despite the team playing at a very high standard
