Old Plymothian and Mannamedian RFC is a great example of the vital role that a club
can play in the local community. Rugby Club Magazine spoke with Chairman Mark
Turner to find out more about the good work that they have been doing.
Atmosphere
“OPM RFC is currently very upbeat as we
have now become an established club
in the Devon and Cornwall league and
are enjoying our rugby. We have a new
coaching team for this coming season
which always freshens things up, moving
our training site to where we play on match
days with improvements underway to the
facilities there for our Junior section with
better social accommodation, facilities and

changing areas. We have a thriving Junior
section up to U13’s and our latest venture
O2 Touch which plays mid-week and is
open to all continues to grow in numbers
each year.”
