Based at the Buckfastleigh Sports Ground in Devon, Buckfastleigh Ramblers will be
competing in the Tribute Devon 2 South West Division. Rugby Club Magazine caught up with
the club’s Chairman Luke Collings to find out more about the good work that they have been
doing.
Involvement
He told us, “I have been involved with the club
since 1993. I was first attracted due to the
family environment that the club was based
upon. I also played with my brother at the club
until 1999 when he unfortunately passed away,
this has strengthened my connection and we
now award a trophy in memory of Adrian for
most man of the matches.
When Adrian passed away I was helped
through it by members of the rugby team, Mike
Maslin, Andy Rowe and Martin Baker. Martin
played when the club was first formed, and
when it was reformed, he was a great family
man and was one of the main influences
