BATH
Involvement
She told us, “I joined Bath Rugby in August 2010.
It is one of the biggest rugby clubs in Europe,
and as I was just starting my career, I knew that
I would gain a lot of experience in a variety of
situations that would stand me in good stead for
the future.”
The Role
“Every day is different, and you never know what
you will be working on next – there’s always a
new and exciting project to get your teeth into.
The unpredictable nature of sport has a huge
impact on my role, especially when dealing
with the media, but being part of that team
atmosphere and having everyone in the business
striving to achieve the same goals both on and off
the pitch is very rewarding.”
Atmosphere
“The mood here is very good – we’ve had a
positive season, achieved what we wanted to by
getting back into the top European competition,
and we’re looking forward to seeing what the
future holds.

We have a very talented young squad, who are
predominantly English and we’re very excited
about seeing them develop over the next few
years. We want to develop a core of players who
are home-grown, and who can go on to represent
their country.”
For the Love of the Game and the Pride of the Community
Having started life in 1960 as a family business in Westbury, Rygor
became a service agent for Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles in
1986. The business has gone from strength to strength expanding
into new locations with flagship branches across the country.
The company has always placed a great importance on supporting
the local community and worthwhile causes within it and has
been working with Bath Rugby and the Bath Rugby Foundation for
almost 12 years.
"Bath Rugby is much more than a sporting club." says Managing
Director, Tim Stacey. "The Club is a core part of the community,
which not only provides a great level of enjoyment, but creates
a sense of unity and togetherness for local people, as well as
enthusiasts of the game. As keen rugby fans, myself and the team
here at Rygor enjoy supporting Bath at matches as well as doing
our bit to help the club and the Foundation.
"What started as us just being season ticket holders, the
relationship between Rygor and Bath Rugby has evolved and now
we supply them with four liveried vehicles for the transportation
of equipment and staff. These vehicles provide an excellent profile
raising platform for the club, as well as Rygor.
"Additionally, many members of our team are heavily involved in
sports and fitness activities in their own time, and jumped at the
chance to get involved with fundraising events for the Foundation,
like the Superstars challenge. It's not only an exceptionally
worthwhile cause, but is a fantastic opportunity for businesses
to play a part in enhancing the
