Barriers to education

There are many factors that throughout the years have stopped Mexico from becoming being a well-developed country in terms of education. Poverty and wealth inequality are huge factors in these challenges, it not only affects whether children attend or not to school, but also the way they get educated.

Schools in low income communities and rural areas face many problems such as school dropout rates, absences and year grade repetition. This happens because children are more likely to start working at an early age to help their family economically rather than going to school, although it's not really their choice., but they must.
