Overcharging
In the last year the CORC have received an alarming amount of calls from the public regarding quotes they have received from roofers which to be blunt are a blatant rip off!!
THIS is becoming more common and we urge anyone who suspects a roofer of blatantly overcharging to report them immediately to Trading Standards. Any information you give will be treated in the strictest confidence.
THIS has a knock on effect because customers who are unaware of costs can then be approached by others who offer to do the work much cheaper and they straight away think they are getting a good deal and will authorise them to start work without possibly checking them out first. This leaves a stain on the roofing industry and for those who comply with all the rules and regulations.
THE CORC have themselves removed members for this and we will continue to do so if this is bought to our attention. We will not tolerate this and will help the authorities bring prosecutions against those involved if necessary. Please help us to help you.
