COMMENTS FROM FIRST INTERVIEW Bob werrbach T here are a number of reasons why people join First Interview. Most of which have to do with dealing in the world of splits by belonging to a Split network. Also, there is a full set of Policy and Procedures in place to help protect all members whether suppling the candidate or providing the job opportunity. These Policy and Procedures are there for all affiliates and they provide very specific definitions on who and when a candidate can and cannot be accepted. Example #1 : If you submit qualified candidates to an affiliate for an opening posted or called in to you and the owner of the job does not communicate back to the you on the status of that candidate as accepted or not within 48 hours that candidate is accepted and protected for 24 months per the terms of the Policy and Procedures. What that simply says is that if you don’t update the candidate’s recruiter and the candidate gets a job in the next 24 months you owe that recruiter a split. It sure seems simpler and possibly much less expensive to send a 5-10-word update. Example #2 : Did you know that having a candidate in your da- tabase is NOT the deciding factor in accepting that candidate for a split. If you have not identified the candidate and contacted the candidate and a referring recruiting finds that same candidate and contacts that candidate on your behalf, that recruiter is the recruit- er of record and if placed, a split fee is to be paid. We are bringing these examples to your attention as a reminder of the power of the network and its ability to protect all members. If you need further clarification on these points or others please do not hesitate to reach out to us, that is what we are here for. 2 WWW.RSSM.BIZ | WWW.RSSM.BIZ
