Police Pooches:
making us proud
We are always very proud when one of our
dogs is accepted as a Police Dog. Not only
do they get the chance to do what they love
best for the rest of their lives, but they also
prove that rescue dogs can achieve the same
amazing levels of training that dogs bred
to do this work can, regardless of breed or
background. We would like to thank PC Lee
Webb for his passion in promoting rescue
dogs, and the Staffordshire Police Force for
taking on their first Staffie Drugs dog from
us. Cooper came to us because his owner
couldn’t cope with his exciteability and
strength and this had developed in to very
unruly behaviour. He was a very frustrated
boy! Animal care supervisor Sue channelled
this into searching for a ball, and he has now
completed his training and loving every
minute of it!
