Golden Oldies People often worry about taking on an older dog, but in reality they have so many benefits. They are usually housetrained, have lived and experienced life, so generally know what to expect from new situations. They don’t always need quite so much exercise and are often quite happy to be left alone for a few hours so they can have a snooze. They don’t chew the house like young puppies and when they look at you with their adoring eyes and melt your heart with their sweet grey muzzles, you are in love! Poppy, 10 years Once you have loved a senior dog it’s hard to understand why anyone would want a puppy! Here is a selection of wonderful oldies we have had the privilege to care for and rehome since our last newsletter. rs Sadie, 8 yea Ruby, 9 years
