Maintenance Free Injection Molded Frames — Polypropylene For Commodity and Blinds
• White and tan frames for 1 ¾ ” doors with ½ ” glass are manufactured with a filled polypropylene resin with excellent heat ( 225 degrees F ) & impact resistance and superior weatherability . No painting or staining is required to maintain original white color .
• If finishing is desired , both primers and paints labeled “ For Plastics ” should be used . For staining , primers are also required and then use gel stains followed with two coats of clear polyurethane .
• Using paint thinners or similar chemicals will void warranty and lose effectiveness of frame to door and frame to glass sealants
• White frames for 1 ¾ ” doors with 1 ” BBG ’ s are manufactured with the same polypropylene resin described above . These frames are manufactured with a glass opening or 1.040 ” to accept oversized glass packs using 4mm Low-E glass .
• White frames for 1 ¾ ” doors with 1 / 8 ” glass are manufactured with the same polypropylene resin described above .
• White frames for 1 3/8 ” doors with 1/8 ”, ½ ”, and 1 ” glass are manufactured with the same polypropylene resin described above . Available in 20x64 , 14x64 , 20x36 , 22x36 & sunburst .
Extruded Vinyl Frames
• Extruded PVC frames for 1 ¾ ” doors , available in white or tan for ½ ” or 1 ” glass widths , and white only for 1/8 ”. These vinyl frames are extruded with a profile and woodgrain that matches RSL injection molded frames . Injection molded screw hole plugs are attached to the warranty label on the glass . These plugs are not an exact fit for our vinyl frames due to the difference in plastic materials , but the plugs are helpful in filling the screw hole . Soft vinyl flaps form watertight gaskets around the glass to frame and frame to door edges . This eliminates oozing or dirty gaskets . Additionally , the top and bottom rails including the corners of all frames have ADCO IG-028 added to hold the glass in the frame ( for handling ) and further eliminate any chance for leaking .
• Do not require finishing and will retain their original color if unfinished . No primer is needed . If finishing is desired , simply use latex paint or paint labeled “ For Plastics ” or gel stains followed by two topcoats of clear polyurethane .
Vinyl Hurricane Frames
• No exposed Screws ! Just install screws and snap in decorative cover for final finish . Vinyl frames do not require finishing and will retain their original color if unfinished . No primer is needed . If finishing is desired , simply use latex paint or paint labeled “ For Plastics ” or gel stains followed by two topcoats of clear polyurethane . Meets and exceeds IBC & IRC ASTM E1886 , E1996 & E330 of the Florida Building Code for high velocity hurricane zones ( TAS 201 , 202 & 203 ) Florida Approval # FL11515 ( www . floridabuilding . org ).
• Covered by a Lifetime Warranty . 9000 pressure cycles to pass water and air infiltration tests .

For Decorative
• All RSL injection molded frame tooling has been improved to widen the gap between the glaze and precaulk grooves and the edge of the frames . This modification will reduce precaulk and glaze squeeze out and reduce the sightline of IG butyl along the glass edges of the frame . Injection molded screw hole plugs are in bags that are attached to the warranty label that is placed on the face of the glass or provided in a separate box with each order .

• If finishing is desired , avoid using primers and apply two coats of exterior latex or polyurethane paint . For staining , also avoid primers and use gel stains followed with two coats of clear polyurethane .
