* During the conference we for the first time : went digital and held a conference online summed up how pandemics affected investigative journalism held a teleconference with colleagues from the Middle East

Headline figures and results :

* 698 people from 40 countries took part in the conference .

* Out of the 17 panels , « Aggression , Threats , and Attacks on Journalists » was the loudest and most visited , which means that our colleagues need tools for protection and support in conditions of psychological and physical pressure .

* 20 % of registered participants of the conference were students and lecturers of journalism studies

* More than 12,5 thousand users were reached on Facebook .

* Thanks to the technical team of MediaStream the broadcast of the conference was on a really high level ( participants compared it to a TV show ).

* Excellent interpreters worked with us , that ’ s why even during parallel streams viewers could have watched us in three languages . It expanded our coverage , attracted more people , including Englishand Russian-speaking audiences .

* We received a lot of positive feedback and did not regret setting out to conquer the digital peaks : 40 postsreviews under # IJC20 hashtag proved that .
