* Headline figures :

* In January the training was conducted in Lviv with the participation of 16 journalists . The speaker was Nils Hanson , an author of a Swedish classic handbook on investigative journalism .

* As part of the Chas rozsliduvaty ( Time to Investigate ) competition , 21 professional journalistic investigations were conducted during the year . Journalists were mentored by Yevheniia Motorevska ( Slidstvo . Info ), Maksym Opanasenko ( BIHUS . info ), and media expert Fedir Sydoruk . RPDI lawyers were making pre-publication screenings .

* RPDI and Youcontrol regional investigative workshop Vykryvay i zminyuy ( Expose and Change ) was held for 44 participants .

* A network of investigative journalists was developed and 8 experts were invited to share their knowledge with colleagues as part of a series of webinars entitled Tak my rozsliduyemo ( This Is How We Investigate ) ( more than 6000 views ).

* Three investigative journalism trainings ( seven training days ) were conducted for almost 30 journalists in the summer .

* Out of the 4 winners of the journalist publications competition dedicated to tortures in Ukraine , 3 were published with the support of RPDI , and 2 among them were journalist investigations .

* The shortlist of finalists of the Honor of the Profession - 2020 competition includes materials that were published with the support of RPDI : one publication in the nomination « Best news coverage » of a resonant event , four - in the category « Best investigation ».

* 8 publications out of 10 which were published with the support of RPDI made it to the finals of the National Journalistic Investigation Competition as part of MezhyhiryaFest .
